Hi academic! Perhaps it's just me but this is the first time I heard of such a disorder. Would be very interesting to follow as much as I hope the parents would find a quick cure for this.

Actually I pity the parents of this boy because, one of them has to stay at home and look after him!

Absolutely! It's a 24 hour vigilance. Oh my that's tough isn't it. Is there anything of concern with the boy's health? That's something too.

I've never heared about this. This is really terrible for the parents to actually have to give the kid attention 24h without any breaks. I think they would be glad when the kid grows older and he can do those things alone. But I still don't understand, does this mean he's neve feeling tired? He never needs new energy or something by sleeping or doing nothing?

I have never heard of such a thing about a baby who stay awake like this poor boy. It is really disturbing for both the parents and the baby boy as well. It is an extremely hard job for the parents to take turns to watch out their boy. I hope that the doctors won't give up trying to find some ways to help cure the little boy. Take care, academic.

Heeeeyyy! Nice to see you Sir William, been almost three years man! Hope the Great Wall of China is doing well! But back to this problem, I read the article around the problem and I was myself perplexed. The brain is a very delicate organ-they can make or destroy us!
