Just managed to watch a 1997 movie called Liar,Liar starring funnyman Jim Carrey. While not as funny as the Ace Ventura twins or Bruce Almighty,Jim really did some interesting things short of slapstick in this movie. That he couldn't tell lies for a day which is the wish of his son makes for a comical premise when Jim has to defend a client in court. Lots of laughter,though some borders on abject silliness.
See if if you like Jim Carrey movies. I did enjoy it a fair bit.

I love Jim Carrey movies! I think he is a very talented actor. His facial expressions are very funny. Liar Liar was a good movie. It just goes to show how hard it would be to go a day without lying at all. I like the Ace Venture movies too. Although looking back at them now they are a little silly lol.

Compare this to a latter movie called Yes Man, we can see that Jim has sobered up so much. Maybe it is his age. Perhaps, maybe because he believed he may have been in the rubber face business much too long. Whatever it is, Liar. Liar was quite a fun movie. Thanks fro your comments.
I loved this one because it had lots of comedy, and even drama.

I like Yes Man, he's really funny there
haven't watched many movies of his but I'll see if I can get some of the old ones

Hiya graceful,,
I have not seen this Film ever only parts of it on Trailers and it never seemed to appeal to me altogether. I did see Jim Carrey in one of the Batman Films where he played the part of "Enigma". I thought he played this brilliantly this time round.
His most favourite Film is "The Mask" that was his best for me at least anyway.
I know the Story of the Film "Liar, Liar" again it´s just that I never got around to seeing it properly. So it would not be fair to give the Film a critic. Because it could indeed be a very good Film. So I just thought I´d tell you what I have seen.

what a great film. I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey. This was one of his best.
