Hello mylotter friends..
I'm newbie about using mylot. it's been about 3 weeks. but I only been collected about $ 0.53 for 3 weeks after I gave commented for all the topics I'm interested about. I think that's such a wasting to get that amount even for 3 weeks :(
let me know how you guys make a BIG income from mylot?

You earn for your participation here (responses, comments, discussions and certain other things). It's important to understand that 'quality' is important - notice that it says at the side "Please be as descriptive as possible." and that one line or one word responses and comments do not earn you a shiny cent!
It depends, of course, on how much time you can spend here but I think that you will find that choosing discussions carefully and spending more time in writing maybe two paragraphs will be more worth your while than just writing one line responses and comments. Make sure, too, that you respond only to discussions which are not likely to be deleted through Guideline violations.

It depends on your activities, how many post you do and how interesting they are. The number seems to be a bit low, but keep on it and you may raise it. But you've made 350+ post in only 3 weeks? Too big a number.
You may try also the tasks and the MyLot search to get extra rewards.

Ok, it's not a secret, just the usual routine here. Read, post a lot, responses, sometimes comments, and starting your own discussion. That's the main income here. Usually, making say, 5 responses you can get 5/10 cents, to give you numbers.
Take care of the "quality" of your post, you should write something significant and more that a single sentence, to add an opinion or more content, that's what MyLot rules says and how our posts are judged.
The task are minor incomes too, as searches are, but can help.
So far, in 4 months here, I've earned almost $6, which is not bad at all in one of these sites. With a few referals you can even get more.

Did you mean, you only earn $.53 in 3 weeks and your total post is 368? That is quite a real low and slow my friend. With that number of posts, you could be near in your minimum payout of $10. It is surprising that you only earn less than a dollar.
Well, I do not want to brag my friend, but we earn here fast not by how many post we have or submit. We earn here by the quality of our posts. Contents of the posts is important here. Hence, you need to submit a sensible discussion and response. Aside from that, make sure that your posts are lengthy. Expand what you want to say or express. Do not submit a mere thank you or one liner discussion or response. Another tip, read the mylot guidelines and FAQ so that you have idea what to do and what to avoid.

yes I did it. I posted many comments only for $0.53 for 3 weeks for 350+. I think that;s too bad. but now I know that the quality is most important, so I hope next I could earn much bigger

I don't really expect to make a lot of money at mylot. I'm trying to make at least 10 dollars in the next week, and with that goal in mind, I'm working harder. I try to post at least 100 comments per day. I try to make my comments deep and thoughtful, and not just pointless little sentences, so that I earn more money. The money you earned is based on the amount and the depth of he comments you post. If you post a word for each of your comments, you probably won't earn any money. But if you write more and give more information, you will earn more money.
If you want to make more money, I wouldn't suggest trying mylot. You may be able to earn a few extra bucks every few months, but unless you dedicate a TON of time and effort, it's hard to earn a lot of money. If you want to make decent money, I would suggest going to websites where you write reviews or articles, like Helium and Associated Content. Hope this helps!

I have personally found that one of the most important things that you can do in order to make the most out of the time that you spend on mylot is that you have to make quality contributions to the discussions that you are participating in. In addition to that, when you start a discussion of your own, you really need to take the time to respond back to all of the people that have responded to you. You need to realize that you aren't going to get rich from the time that you spend on mylot, but you are able to do okay if you follow those tips.

yeah, you want to earn more in mylot. you need to reply something that are meaningful and have great advice. you know, when we give a reply, we should think about it and make a advisable reply. some words would not earn you a cent. youshould reply some long sentences. write more. good luck,guy/

I would recommend doing tasks, and if you use the search engine, sometimes they give you a little reward. Just don't use it too much or they won't give you money because they know you're just using their search engine to get money.

hi there!
saw your post, and somehow, we are not far from our status (in terms of myLot earnings) but way far from our number of posts, i only have 70+. the way i understand IT, we must post contents that are full of sense and rich in substance and so that our other fellow myLot members might find them helpful. i believe it's not all about the higher the number of post, but rather the higher the sensible messages we share = the better potential earnings to come. good luck to us and happy mylotting! high five!

I think if you want to get bug income from here, because this is a community site, It's for exchange knowledge, experience, and comments... Not for your income.

Try writing longer posts like mentioned .I think that is the key of earning more money . I have written 100 posts and have half a dollar , but from now on I will try writing longer and more descriptive comments , both to help more my fellow mylotters and to up my current income. Posting , answering a lot will surely help you learn a lot of things and earn a little.

That's great strategy Must read. I have to say that here there is no special price for a post. I think that we earn, because people rate us. That's my own theory, but i still believe in it, so if you are more descriptive and useful for the people, they will rate you more

I wouldn't say that I make "big earnings" from mylot, but I can reach the $10 payout in a month. You make more money by doing full / long posts than doing short posts (like the ones you are making replying to everyone's posts on this thread). Yesterday, I think I made about 20 maybe 30 posts and made $0.30, which isn't exactly big money but not a waste either.

Don't worry you will get the hang of mylot soon enough and as your rating starts to go up than that is better for you right there. I know that when I started off on mylot that I wasn't making much, but than I started to make more, but right now I don't make a lot, but that's because I am only on here like once per day or so. Activity on here is always good and posting responses that are good is always better for you. For me I think that I am going to have to start going on here a lot more so that I could be able to make ten dollars a month because before when I was on here a lot more I always made ten dollars or so by the month, but now it has been harder, but that's no excuse. Anyway I wish you the best of luck here on mylot.

Hey friend, i'm here since 5 months now and i reached my first amount for sending to paypal at the middle of the month, so don't worry about that. Just everything takes time and you have to be strong in the quality of the posts, not the number.
I was out of the website for 3 months, but since i'm here again, everything is even better than before. You need to find your own way of writing here, something unique which people will like and will rate more, so you will got better reputation and will earn very good Believe in yourself, forget the number of the responds and just have fun. Believe me, that's the own way here

Hello smartrich,
I consider myself a newbie in mylot also although am a week older than you in here. I appreciate your activeness compared with me but i am confuse on the amount. Although its not quiet good to compare things but i got $0.63 with my 46 participation. But anyway. I find mylot much more interesting than earning. In here i found a home to express myself though am not use to writing even to express myself either. Deep in my heart i can say earning in mylot is only secondary. We may be frustrated if thinking having a big income out from here. In my few hours in here i'v learned many things and i know this monetary thing would be the next.

i'm new on here also. i'm making about .15 cents a day. i respond to 20 discussions every day. maybe, as a 58 year old woman, i have more time than you do, as this takes about 2 hours. also i was told that the longer your answer...5 sentences or more...the better you will be paid.and so i blather on and on as i am doing now. hahaha. that being said, i do think this is not a very good place to make any money. as soon as i get up to $10 ( how many years will that take, do you think?) i will take that money and play the lottery. hahaha. the other thing is i run out of interesting topics to respond to. most everyone here is a lot younger than i am and i could care less about their interests.

I asked a similar question yesterday, and basically what I was told, and what I believe is a very good answer was this service wasn't created as a get rich quick scheme for you to make lots of money really easily. Its a social networking site where people are encouraged to participate, and to help that encouragement along you get a little money for doing so. Enjoy the people, read some interesting things, and make a little money. Don't expect to make hundreds every month. I signed up mainly because I was bored, and wanted to see what it was about, and thought "hey this is pretty cool I can chat with people, and get thrown a little cash off, and on for chatting."
