Today, I wake up 2:30 in the morning. The Creative Media and Arts, a ministry where I belong, were responsible for the preparation of the Sunken Garden at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City Philippines. Lights in, tents in, registration in, games in media equipments in and of course the runners of Jesus Christ To god be the Glory Muntinlupa Satellite Church are very in, excited for such another great fun. We started the event with a prayer lead by our resident pastor, Pastor Ricky Mata and he officially opened the race thereafter. Everyone was of course happy for there is the spirit of Joy, and there, is also God, who authored the spirit of Joy. After the race was a series of Games, such as hataw palayok, relays and tug of war which was really a laughing-out-loud one. This lasted for almos 3 hours. The benefits of the event will proceed with the Church annual operation tulong wherein there are giving gifts to the hundreds of family in the congregation as the spirit of Christmas shattering each and everyone. This was the second fun run held for this year and it was a victory. All glory belongs to the Father who showered the spirit of joy and giving in the body of Christ. Amen.

Hi friend and fellow mylotter.
I do envy you; not only because you seem to be happy and contented with what you're doing now but also because you are in the Greater Manila Area or the Metropolis area where I really love to return to.
I know that I should be happy because I'm with my parents now but it's quite complicated. You see, I do have my own family now and the only reason that we are here with them now is the fact that I became jobless last year. I applied to so many companies but to no avail.
Until last January of this year, I don't know if I should consider it a blessing when I got hired by a local rural bank. Initially, I thought things are getting fine already but then, I discovered that the bank does not give at least the minimum wage here in the region. In addition, their probationary status period takes until 9 months which is quite tricky; 3 months contractual training period and 6 months probationary. And yet, we never had any training from anyone.
I attempted to resign during the 3rd quarter but as expected, they wouldn't let me and they seem to be deaf when I was telling them this. And, I'm quite indecisive, too, regarding this matter because our only child is currently enrolled in a local school.
Anyway, I do hope to be working there again in Manila the soonest possible time; particularly in Ortigas area. As with my husband, he has even changed work location so as to be near us but he knows of my plan to return there. Hopefully, we'll be able to bring our daughter along. Wish us luck and regards.

myknari, just pray for God provision in your life. If it is according to His will that you'll be able to work here in Manila, that's great. For the mean time, patience and understanding the situation matters most. But, honestly working in Ortigas is quite adventurous one. Aside from a corporate setting, opportunities are really good.
Hopefully you'll be able to live here with your family!
