You maybe right but you said that you're easy to get along with. Well, people who are easy to get along with are those who doesn't prefer anybody as their friend or acquaintance. They are very flexible and easy going, not like your reaction on this discussion.

I agree with you,if we wat to be respected,we should respect someone first,however,it is not true all the time,sometimes,we respect people,and say plite words to him or her,but he or she don't cherish our friendship.I don't like this people,when I meet this people, there's nothing I can do.

hi advokatu You really do make a great point and politeness'and courtesy smooth the way for people to become friends, even if just casual friends.If you wish to be respected , you must show respect to each other.It always seems to me to boil down to'he foldedn rule I learned as a child. do unto others as you would have them do unto you.I try to always be polite to anyone I am dealing with. I often am shocked at people who work in the public being rude and snappish with me when I have been polite and courteous with them.I worked in the public all my life and I always bent over backward to'be polite to all.So others are not polite your being rude is not going to help the situation.

what you say is true.If we want others to respect us we have to respect them.A polite introduction or greeting speaks well about us and gives others a positive impression of us.Some form a negative opinion of us but if in our hearts we are sure of ourselves we ought not to allow it to hamper our opinion of ourself.

Hi Advokatku!. I never consider you as an arrogant person. Yes indeed respect has to come mutually its must take and give action but when we respect someone they usually respect us too as return. I think most Indonesian really polite and will not make problem unless they provoked by nasty word or cruel action.
