Minding manners...

Good day to all!
We were at the mall yesterday when my daughter asked to go to the ladies room because she needs to pee. Arriving at the nearest comfort room, we found out that it was almost jammed with people and each toilet cubicle has a line of people waiting. Since my daughter found a shorter line, I stepped aside and stood near the entrance and told her to just stay put and wait when all of a sudden a woman seemingly in the age of mid 40s barged in and got in front of my daughter as if she owned the place. She may be thinking my girl is alone and as she is just a 9 year old kid she thought that it was a wise move to do so. As soon as I saw her stand in front of her, I spoke to my daughter and asked her where her cue is, pointing to the direction of the woman who just stood in front of her. The woman even turned her back to look at her at that instant and glanced at me for a second or two and seeing a dazed look in my little girl's eyes, I almost lost my temper, fortunately I was at my best before the incident so I held on to myself and instead I called out my daughter and we transferred to another CR where I believed wouldn't be as jam packed but a bit of a distance as it was a flight of stairs away onto a lower level.
I simply couldn't understand why there are people who do not know the good manners and etiquette and simply have no respect for others. Even if the kid is a 9-year old, she should have at least spoke to her gently and tell her she needs to go first because she might not hold it back. Considering there are a few more other women in the cue before my daughter, she just chose to take the line in front of the kid because she knew the kid couldn't complain.
I really hate it when I see people act this way. I was thinking then, if I would have spoken harshly just to appease my anger would it have been a good idea? Would it have resolved the issue? But thinking about it now, I felt relieved that I didn't show off my batting skills or I would have regretted it in the end because I would have made myself lower than her character.
Have you somehow lost your temper at times when mindless people do this? Would it be wise to just keep quiet, relenting knowing how urgent your kid needs to go even if there are no other place to go instead? Or would you scold the person in front of all the others looking and make her mind her manners? What do you think of people like her? I wish to know how you feel.

Some people care less about others. They do things that will benefit them without considering others. It is a shame that there are so many people like that.
