I don't really know why people are nuts about Stephanie Meyer's Twilight saga.
And I don't really know why people flame Edward, Bella and Jacob a lot.
Geez, guys, get a life and move on.

I don't get what the fuss is about too- Twilight isn't even a great book. There are hundreds of books that are ten times better than it. It's so not original.(human in love with vampire and stuff) Well, I hope people get over it soon.. Pleas no haters..just saying what I think

Yeah, exactly. Years later, people will forget about it, too. It's just a common story, very fictional and all that.

True. I just don't get why people really praise the movie like it's Titanic. It's pretty normal, nothing poetic about the book and the movie. Not Shakespeare at all.

Hello there! I'm just one of those you are referring to. I love the book. For me, it has a nice story and I really liked it. I am very happy when the movie was released and I watched immediately. Unfortunately, there are omissions in the movie, so, I prefer reading the book. But, I'm still looking forward for the last part! Breaking dawn!

I was once a total fan of the Twilight Saga and I have to admit that I went crazy about it. The story can be considered common but what made it boom is the setting. I don't know if there were stories written before Twilight that are about teenage mortals falling in love with immortals. I've seen other vampire movies but they're not set in the present generation. I think that's what made Stephenie Meyer catch the attention of I guess more than half of the worldwide teenage population. She wrote a story that teenagers, who make up most of the world's active readers, could relate to. Not to mention all the cheesy lines of Edward Cullen that every girl fantasizes to hear from their crushes or whatever.
Twilight is a temporary epidemic for me. I'm not that thrilled anymore about it. It has become overrated and I do believe that someday, people will forget about this.
