Good point, Visavis. Let's hope that many newbies will read your discussion and they will benefit from your good advice.
Nobody likes when a discussion is deleted, not only the discussion starters have to suffer because the deletion, but all the users who responded lose their work, too. It's dissapointing to have your activity deleted, especially if you put some time and effort to write a response for that discussion.
I haven't had any discussion deleted so far (because I don't start too many discussions ) but I had a lot of responses deleted because the discussion where they were posted was deleted.

Great advice visavis
They will start earning sooner if they are aware of what to do and not do.
May I add that to search to see if a topic has already been discussed, it is enough to post a word (or some words) concerning the topic into the search bar here and then highlight 'discussions' and make a search. Randomly rewards are awarded too while searching.

Hello there,
that's nice. you are learning very quick in this site. I wish there's more people like you here, but it seems they needed to complain first then have topics deleted before they realized the violations they committed.
It's nice that some one else are reminding the new people in mylot. as for me, i think i am one of those who got tired of this.

Look at it from another point of view: if we help the newer users then it is our gain if they learn too because we will have more opportunities once they get the hang of things here and start participating correctly

Visavis,
Thanks for posting this. A lot of people around here don't know how to properly respond to discussions here. They talk about the most random things when the topic is clearly stated. And I especially hate it when they write something that is related to the title of the discussions, but don't really read the description below the title. It's annoying, and frankly, rude, because they're just using the site to make money, and not respecting the people who are actually trying to have a nice conversation.
Thanks again,
Annie
