Do you care about your children more then God or God more then your children?
Would you kill your children if God asked you to?

I am unmarried and don`t have a family. However, hypothetically if i had a family with wife and children i would not only believe in God but also ask them to follow Him and his tenets. We all are children of God and He is present in us and in all living creaturs whether they are human, animal, insect, bird or plant.God is universal and he is present in His entire creation. If He is not there then There would be nothing but a big void. All of us are living embodiments of God and we should respect and love each other and not kill, maim or murder each other. No God will ever ask us to kill our children or our fellow beings. If he does then he is not God but the devil in us which makes us act.Nowadays we have a certain religious community that believes that if we kill in the name of God then he will bless us and we will go to Heaven and they call this as Jehad. This is nonsense and they are fooling nobody else but themselves.

So is the bible wrong? In the bible God told many people to kill others. If God doesn't permit killing why doesn't god save everyone's life? If God told you not to kill the person who molested your kid would you obey even if you get away with killing the person who molested your kid?

I think this is a very difficult question, but I think that if God gave you your children he would not want you to kill them. I think that me personally, having to not be an extremely religious person would not kill my children. This seems more of a test of strength than a true wish. However, it's not a choice of which one I care about more. I think many people would respond differently.

God is his/her own person. God is not bound by any laws remember? God can ask you to do anything. In the bible God asked someone to kill his kid for him.

The age old concept and belief of God as a separate entity from all of us has led to many in behaving differently,as influenced by their religious faiths. By identifying one's individual self with Absolute and universal identity of the Almighty God,one can overcome the feeling of such duality, and can experience the presence of God in every living being including one's children too. Then individual behavior and actions become the Godly action that cause everything good for the individual and for others around. All individual choices will be the choice of God. Thanks.

I think there would be better ways to test someone's faith without including or risking the lives of other people, especially innocent ones. If you would attempt to kill your children, let alone actually manage it, I wouldn't call that faith, I would call it sick murder and put you in a jail or a nuthouse for the rest of your life. (of course, we're discussing hypothetically here )

I equally value both children and God. I believe God exists in all of us particularly in children. Because they do not harm anybody knowingly. If somebody is asking you to kill your children with your own hands, he must not be God. God Loves us, and say to love all, not to kill.
You can feel God everywhere. If something good you do anyone in this world,God dwells there. God is the good feeling in your heart.
Thank you
