Do Your Cats Ever Act Like A Pair Of Fuzzy Slippers?

I have one cat who likes to sleep on my foot (either one) when I am sitting down somewhere, and another one who likes to sleep on the feet of anyone sleeping in a bed. He alternates between sleeping on your feet and biting them. Both are male cats--my two female cats never do this, although they do rub up against our shoes (if they are off our feet).
Is your slipper cat a male, too?

Yeah, my slipper cat is a male. I wonder if it's a male cat thing? Is the biting thing a male cat thing too, I wonder? LOL Is your slipper neutered? Mine is.

Yes, the biter and the slipper are both neutered. I suspect we may be on to something here--male cats and feet! ![](/Content/images/emotes/rofl.gif)

My sister used to have this big pair of slippers that looked like giant CHICKENS, and they were BIGGER than her CATS. haha The cats used to attack the slippers, and her puppies were afraid of them. LOL I think one day when she was at work, all the animals teamed up, and took revenge on the slippers by eating them. haha

Occasionally either one of the "boys" will do this. They never both do it at the same time. The old guy, Tiger, will attempt to sharpen his claws on both empty and full shoes as well.

My cat ate my shoe-laces, and ate the tie-strong on a hat of mine. LOL He doesn't sharpen his claws on things like that, just eats off of them. haha

hi danishcanadian I did not have cats do that but my dog Swap used
to do that and sometimes my foot wou ld go to sleep as he was not
a tiny dog, not huge like a lab but more like a collie . he would
lie across my feet keeping them warm and if I wriggled my toes he would lick my toe which was a l ittle disconcerting so I started to wear my house shoes again.we had to give him away as we were moving into an apartment, having sold our house. He did get a good home thouogh with children who all loved him.oh how I missed him. why cannot apartment managers allow dogs, maybe little ones but allow them.

I've had cats who've done that. It actually drove me crazy because I'm jittery.. I always have to be moving. Even if it's just kicking my legs back and forth I have to be moving.. and I just can't stand when something or someone impaires my movement in anyway. Anytime a cat tried to be on me I'd have to shoo it away unless it wanted to sit on my lap and let me pet it.. which it usually didn't.

my cats never do that, but they often bite my foot --- well, that is a playful nip. you're lucky to have an affectionate cat!

My cat is soooo affectionate, and my husband and i love it! :) At night the cat sleeps curled up against hubby's butt. LOL Our cat bites too, usually when we try and pet him. He loves to play like that.

Yes, Harmony often camps out on my feet in bed, and I agree, it's such a comfy feeling... so comfy I hate to get up sometimes.

I just can't keep cats in my house because of my fierce terriers. I have 4 indoor dogs that guard their fortress without giving any chance for other species to make their presence safe. But my terriers are equally adorable as they usually stay around me when am surfing the net and make me like their protected species. Pets can make us feel happy by their cute actions.

Usually I just get lap warmers. I make for an excellent bed, according to the felines here. I've been well-trained by many a feline, so I've gotten quite good at being a cat bed.

LoL. I like the cat too, there was a yellow and white cat in my family several years ago. She looks like the Garfield, however she isn't fat. She also like sleeping on my feet, especially in winter. But after she disappeared, I haven't have another one.
