In which age do you want to have a child ?

Right now, I have 4 children. I have 3 girls that are my biological daughters and a step-son. I had my first daughter 2 months before turning 18. My second daughter was born a few weeks after I turned 19 and I had my 3rd daughter a few months after turning 23. I really wanted to have a boy of my own but God blessed me with 3 beautiful little girls. I really have no prefrence on the gender of the baby. As long as the child is healthy that is what matters most to me.

I wish China would lighten up on the boy/girl thing, I think it is really quite nuts! I have 6 children myself, 5 boys and 1 girl. I had my first child, a son, when I was 24 years old.

Before I had my children I hoped to get married at 22 years old. Then have a baby girl at 24 years old and a baby boy at 26 years old. Then my children would have a 2 year age gap. Life worked out differently for me. I got married and then had my baby boy at 22 years old. My marriage lasted just six years. Then I got into another relationship. I had my disabled son when I was 34 years old. I had my baby daughter when I was 36 years old. So my children have an age gap of 12 years then I got the 2 years I wanted in the first place.

If I had lots of money I would already had a child or two. But because I am only a regular guy, I want to have children only after establishing myself. I think this will happen only after reaching the age of 26-27, so I would like to have my first child at that age. I would like to have boys more, but the most important is for the children to be healthy, not the gender.

i have a son and i think son aor daughter both are best, and right age of having child is 20-25

it sems to ne true in the past few year. norwardays, more and more Chinese people have changed their mind, especially the young people.

Hi Earl123456, here most of the chinese people in my place nowadays still have the similar thought like that in your place. Might be this is due to the heritage of surname or first name of a family. The kid of the married daughter will follow the surname of the husband side. Acoording to the tradition, if a family doesn't have a single boy this means that there isn't any new generation for the family. And the string of the that family will be broken. Another reason is just same to that of your place. A married daughter will take care of her husband side family. therefore many think that it's not worth to bring up a nice and well educated daughter to benefit her future family. Here there is no restriction for a couple to have a certain number of children, as long as the family is affordable to raise the children. I married at the age of 27 and gave birth to my son after a coupole of years. I think it's the ideal age for me to do that for I have my favorite job after graduation Happy posting

I was 22 years old when my oldest child was born. I really wanted to have a son first and then a daughter later so that my daughter would always have a big brother to look out for her, but it wasn't meant to be that way. Instead, I had my daughter first and nearly four years later her little brother came along. I wouldn't trade either my daughter or my son for the world because they are the two things in the world that have made my life complete.

I do not have any children right now but I would want to have a child when I am in my mid-twenties. I want a boy first than I want a girl second :)

Personally would want around 6 boys and 3 girls at least. hehehe :D I want to have kids at age 30. Here in the Philippines I don't hear much preference on child whether a boy or a girl, it's still a blessing because they say, the children that we have are gifts from God.

I think I want to have a child when I am 27. I would like a boy, because I want him to be the leader of the family when I am not around...My next child should be a girl. I do not have any sister, so with a baby girl I can have the experience I missed during my childhood days, taking care of small girl, even though the case now it is my daughter instead...
