when people say things about you

As a Human being, we can't help but say things about other people, either good or bad.
But thinking of the nature of us humans, what would you feel about what others think about you? Like how you dress, how you are as a person, you character, your actions, your background, family?
How would you take those opinions? Does it affect you and how you live your life?
