in the last few weeks that i have been inactive here ..i didnt earn much.. ithought i would be earning as long as there would be people responding to my discussions.......
o just realized that i would earn more if i would be posting more discussions rather than responding to them...
watcha think?

If you have been inactive here for the last few weeks, why do you expect myLot to pay you?
MyLot pays us for being active, whatever activity you chose to do (post responses, start new discussions, comment your responses, upload photos, perform searches). The only thing that can bring you money while you're inactive, is your referrals' activity.
MyLot doesn't work like Tirond, for example, where you post an article and the money come to you from the number of views, no matter if you're active or not.
You have to be active here in order to earn.

I'm pleased you are here too because it's great when someone else is here to confirm things (and the regulars seem to have given up or are busy Christmas shopping 
)
I often think of myLot like a bus. You get your ticket (when you register) but you don't see the view (in your earnings) unless you hop on and go for the ride (participate)

Oh, so that's why they are all missing for the last day of the month run! Today again I've noticed not so many discussion started as they used to be in the last day of the month. So it's Christmas shopping to blame, huh?
I like your comparision.
I'd take it further: some travelers in myLot bus are too busy to get to the destination (the payout) so they forget to enjoy the ride, by looking out the windows to the beautiful landscapes (they concentrate on impersonally responding, and they miss all the fun of discussing).

This is the BIG mistake that many users make 
In the FAQs it states:
"If you earned nothing, then you didn’t post anything"

If YOU want to earn then YOU must participate.
You do not earn anything for what others post, they do.

I used to tell to the newbies the golden rule "You type, you earn. I type, I earn" (I like how it sounds and I'm sure it's true) but I didn't have any idea that it's stated in the FAQs. Now I know. Thank you.

Everything is in the FAQs - but we have to stop off and read them to be able to find things. Mylot tell us absolutely everything there
