Are you always attending the Simbang Gabi? Are your wish granted when you tried to complete the Simbang Gabi? What time do you usually attend it? Can you tell me some instances that your wish was granted? What kind of wish you want to be accomplished and why it is like that?
In my case most of my wishes granted when I tried to attend the simbang gabi for around 2005. Even the wish that I want my boyfriend to pass the board exam in Engineering it was even granted last year that is the reason why I am so happy about it. Or even having the right boyfriend which is now an Engineer was even granted. But now there is one prayer that I wish it could be also granted next year but as of the moment I don’t want to divulge it. But I will tell you if it is granted.

So do you think your wish granted even if you have not completed the mass? I hope this time it will really grant again because I need it. I also need motivation as well so that it will be accomplished.

If God's will all wish and prayers may be grant. God is so generous He will give all the thing we ask especially if you pray hard and I think Simbang gabi is liket a novena and I think all prayers are granted in novenas.

No offense meant, but I don't go to church to bargain with God. I find that He knows better what's good for me. I've stopped telling Him what I want because most of the time I realize that what I asked for is not as good as what he gives me. It's just a matter of opening your eyes and seeing the goodness of God and the gifts that He gives us. I have many times realized that I receive blessings far better than I prayed for. I'll give you an example although this was not a direct result of simbang gabi. A few years back I use to run at a nearby sports park. I was trying to lose weight and at that time I was addicted to Diet Coke. After my run, I would hit the nearby vendo for a can of Diet Coke which sold for Php15 at that time. To stop myself from eating at a nearby McDonalds, I would only bring money for entrance fee of 5 pesos and 15 pesos for my Diet Coke. One time, as I was about to enter the park, an old lady approached me and asked for money - she said she has not eaten yet. She looked so emaciated and so I asked her how much she needed. She said she needed only 5 pesos. I asked her what she can buy with her 5 pesos and she pointed to a pedestrian hawker selling junk food. I did not want her to eat junk food and so I instead brought her to a nearby food stall and bought food worth 15 pesos and left her to eat. Of course I was left with only 5 pesos for my entrance. As I was running, I first told God that maybe it was all for the better, at least I could skip on my cola addiction for the day. But as I ran longer, I changed my mind, and I told God that I need 15pesos for my diet coke. Lo and behold I saw coins on the running mat. I looked around and asked the passing runners if they lost money. Nobody owned up to it so I took it. When I finished running and craving for a cola, I went to the stand and it was busted! I counted my money and I had enough for a large Diet Coke in McDo. So you see, if I did not give my money to the old lady, I would have a smaller cola.

So meaning you are not really often go the mass? And weight the sports park that you were talking about is that somewhere in Marikina area? Because as I could see to your other discussions your topic was about the Marikina river. If that is the case then I find it familiar especially when you mentioned Mc. Donalds? I remember that my nephew celebrated his birthday on that place. So I don't know if I visualize right.
But then I really like the idea of what you did that sometimes when you did something good to others there are more blessings that will come to you. I might be able as well experienced that but then I forgot in what instances that I have experienced the same situation as yours. And of course it is also a matter of faith with God.

Hello Metatronik,
I didn't know what I want really or what i wish for How ever, I did complete the Night Mass. I have no Idea you can wish for a Partner. probably i should wish for a lottery win this christmas. isn't that nice? but of course, chances are it might not happen. the only thing i did wish most of the time was getting a job.

Honestly at that time I was actually depressed to other person before him (good thing we are not committed and I am denying it now the fact that I was fallen in love with that gay ) that is the reason why I asked God to give me someone that is right for me and the preferences that I really wish for. I never thought that it would be granted and we are actually 4 years now.
Oh! I think winning a lottery is actually everybody's wish. But then I think being specific is a must because it might be granted but then for only a 150 pesos is also part of winning the lottery when you hit the first three as what happened to my boyfriend, he told me that he has 150 pesos. Or if that is not granted then the wish is not meant for you. Who knows!!!
Oh yes! I also wish that before to get a nice job, it was actually accomplished. But now I am jobless again.

Ah so meaning you weren't able to give time for Simbang Gabi since you were working? How could you force yourself to attend the Simbang Gabi? Do you think you can make it this time and complete it? If ever what time are you going to attend the mass is that the anticipated or the 4:00 am?

I haven't completed a simbang gabi in years, but my prayers were answered even though I only attended 3 or 5 nights. But my mom and some of my friends always complete simbang gabi and they always get their prayers answered.
I guess prayers really depends on faith and the intentions :)

Yes it could be really depending on the prayers as long as it is really possible and we are doing something about it so that it will be accomplished. I could really feel that God is helping us for the right path so that our wish will be granted. If our prayers is something weird and impossible like for example their wish is to marry Prince William and they should be a Princess instead of Kate then of course it won't be granted unless if they are going to do something that they could keep in touch with Prince William so that their wish will be granted.
