life is a series of choices not a series of chances

Life gives us an option to take a chance and make a choice. While a choice depends on your state of mind, chance depends on luck or circumstance. How to take the chance is our own prerogative.

Life can be both a choice and a chance or either of the two, depends on how we think of it and believe. You can say life is full of choices and not a series of chances when you often gets opportunities and those opportunities are in front of your naked eye so it's your choice if what to choose. At times, even if you have your choice but you can't have yet a chance to make it, remember that timing is everything. Even in love life, you think the opportunity to choose someone is in front of you, you chose as it's your choice but later on you realize it isn't the time yet to choose. So it's a matter of choosing correctly the chances in front of you. If one would say we don't have a chance anymore then how could you explain mistakes to make it right? Are mistakes don't have a chance to make them right? Chances are when you don't expect would come to you and you think it would never come again. Those things can make you decide better and change life and perception. It is time you can't have it back but there's always a chance to make them right. Just don't expect you have too much chances 'cause you'll never know when your time ends.

You may be right but i'd rather see life as a series of decisions. That way, there'll be no right or wrong decisions. There are only good or bad ones, where are the bad ones can serve as feedbacks so you can learn from them.

Life is filled with lots of both chances and choices. While many of these chances come from outside, the choices, on the other hand, come from within us. I think successful people, whoever they are, are those who have made the right choice to match the right chance at the right time.

Well I think that life is both a series of choices and thier are some things that happen by chance.Things that could happen by choice are things like pursuing a career or getting married and having kids.Things that happen by chance are winning the lottery or becomming a millionare. I really think life is exciting as you really never know what could happen, some bad things happen to all of us but for the most part their is usually more good than bad.I like helping others out when they are down in their luck but do not like to see perfectally able body people bumming for money in the middle of the intersection.I have no sympathy for people that are able to work that choose not to work and suck money from hard working individuals.

That's right. life is filled with lots of choices and it all depends upon the choice we pick up. the choices may be different and may differ from person to person. there is only one life for us and we have to pick up the right choice. there is no second chance in life. so be alert.... dont!!!! enjoy lots n lots

Life is really a never-ending series of 'chances' - more or less random opportunities which we can either ignore or not and which we have the ability to choose to take up and act on or not, as the case may be. We can train our minds to be ready to recognise the right 'chances' and to jump at the right ones and this, in fact, is the basic 'secret' behind such books as 'The Secret', 'The Law of Attraction' and 'How to Make Friends and Influence People'. It is also one of the main reasons why prayer can be successful. We would not have the choices if it were not for the chances available to us and our ability to recognise a good and useful chance when it occurs is what differentiates a 'successful person' from a 'loser'.
