Why do you think so many people are flocking to the site with farmville cheats?

I was curious at first, but cheating seems a pretty involved process because there are technical stuff to do so I didn't bother. I think the primary motivation for going through with cheats is trying to overtake somebody you know and experience the thrill from doing it. Unfortunately, unenlightened farmers think that FarmVille is a game where other players are in some kind of race. Actually, it's more of a simulation so conditions will vary greatly from player to player (i.e., players have different realities or they don't see the same picture/scenario). But more importantly, motivations and purposes will vary. Some will be content on doing it slow because they already like what they see. Others who are more acquisitive will be in some kind of rat race. Anyway, I now have a Level 86 farm with a bakery churning out a 3-star Triple Berry Pie (Level 64). And I did it in 3 months without having to resort to anything more complicated than buying Hay Bales to level up. And I didn't spend real world money to get ahead. Frankly, my most extravagant use of FV cash was buying a Pirate Halloween costume. It was something I wanted and I could afford it at the time.

Like every other game, farmville has its difficult parts and every gamer wants to overcome that part that's why they're cheating the game. I think that's why people cheat at all, to make things easier.
