is the new creepy puffy face plastic surgery the new beautiful?

Have you noticed the cat lady....she has so much plastic surgery that she literally looks like a cat. I am noticing a lot of lady's lips and I know that have had some collagen injected mostly in the top lip...do they think we can't tell??? it looks like the inside of their lip is on the outside....UGH!

Hi moonlit! My theory is "let well enough alone"! Whatever you were blessed with, good or bad, leave it be! I agree with you that these Hollywood people have lost their friggen minds with what they are doing to themselves. The doctors don't even seem to care! They do whatever they are asked to do. It's all about money. A doctor is suppose to advise you on what would help "enhance" your features. I worked for a Plastic Surgeon" for a few months (he was psychotic)! He would do whatever his "Client" wanted! Some of them actually looked beautiful. He didn't do what the Hollywood Doctors did, but still it was a very disturbing job!

Honestly I don't think I've seen this...You should find a picture online and post it on the discussion, here! 'Cause I'm not sure what this would look like (sounds like it might be funny though). I don't spend a lot of time reading magazines or watching TV (besides my fave show, NCIS) so I don't think I've seen this yet. Is this a form of "age-defying" plastic surgery, in lieu of things like Botox and Collagen injections? They are always coming up with SOMETHING new.. Man. These celebs have WAY too much money on their hands if they can afford to be blowing it on dumb stuff like plastic surgery!!

And they look so plastic!! I think when you get a certain age, you are suppose to show some signs of aging...you are suppose to get some wrinkles and suppose to have thinner lips, etc. Some of the actresses get all this work done when they are like 70 and I don't understand if they are trying to look 20 again or what. You might be able to look 20 on the outside but lets face it, the body is still one of a 70 year old. My mother is now 81 and she actually looks great for her age, but she tells me over and over, "no matter how young I look on the outside, the body is still old". I used to think that was terrible to think, because I know a lot of people her age that are very healthy. What she was trying to say was that even if you change or outside appearance, the inside is still older and it should be more about how you feel that how you look...which makes a lot of sense to me. For example Joan Rivers...after she had her plastic surgery she looked terrible to me. I would have rather see her with wrinkles than that plastic face that looks so fake anyways.

For me it is beautiful only for the first time but when time goes by it became not good and have side effect.

I also think they are getting way overdone...how about Percilla Presley? She can't even smile anymore.....botox. How about Joan Rivers...she's had so many lifts that she can hardly move her face! I'll opt out too....I am happy just the way I am.
