So throughout our working life... we all have worked for different kinds of industry... like for a friend of mine who's worked for a manufacturing company, etc.
For me though, i have worked for 3 totally different industries. I have worked for a hospital, in a call center industry and in a bank..
so far, i can say that all of these have their own unique characteristics... they have their own ups downs, and the processes are really different from each other though sometimes there are still things we see as similarities. the culture are too different too, one is more laid back than the others, and well one is too fast paced and all.
I'd say working for a bank really had my energy drained far too much!! ha ha it was an investment bank so i guess that is why it was really where i was so stressed in my almost 10 years of career.
I really enjoyed my work in a call center, had a lot of memories too with it... it was very dynamic, has its own stress level but at the end of each day... everyone's very close, happy and well we all are friends!!

I always thought being a Doctor would be stressful. Somebody else's life is in your hands (a lot of somebody's actually!) and you have to be responsible for it/them. You have to be up to date on all the medications there are, what you mix with what, new procedures for surgery and on it goes. Some of them take calls at all hours and work long shifts. You know they are going to lose patients at times when there is nothing left they can do, but even if they've done everything possible, it must be very depressing at times. On top of all this most of them have relationships and families they are trying to raise, which on it's own in this world a lot of us find hard.

Yes, I agree. THis is what I was going to say too! It has to be the most difficult job mentally at least.
