Are you happy with what PNOY has been doing?

His inaugural speech is no doubt pleasing to the public, I liked his intentions for the country and the way he spent less money that the previous administration to get some money from the other countries. I just don't get why he should build a new house for him instead of using the Malacanang Palace. I totally agree with Chiz Escudero when he asked what's wrong with using those things used by the previous administration. I heard that Pnoy said that because people view the Malacanang Palace as the place where "corrupt" people stay. That's just lame. People will look at the resident of the house, not the house. He just wasted money in building his new house. Recently, he went to Baguio just to cut the ribbon of a newly opened jollibee outlet. Presently, I think he's not good in managing our country.

Everyone's a critic. There's nothing wrong with using what the previous administration used. PNoy is using an old building owned by the government. There's also nothing wrong with using his discretion as long as it is not grave abuse of discretion. A smaller place suits a bachelor president. As for the ribbon cutting ceremony, one of the jobs of the president is to promote our economy. Opening the 700th store worldwide is a good way of marketing. It shows the world that the Filipinos can compete with the world market and his presence there would ensure that the media picks up on this. I don't approve of everything that he does, but I do give him the benefit of the doubt. I think we all should, after all we gave GMA a decade to do something with the economy and she just all but bankrupted us.

You seemed to be misinformed, as what you said is incorrect. PNoy now lives in Bahay Pangarap, which has been existing since 1930s. It was just across Malacanang, so he commutes using a ferry across the Pasig River. The cost of renovating this smaller home is much cheaper than what could have been the cost to renovate Malacanang to accomodate him. And no, his reason for not staying in Malacanang is not because "corrupt" people stayed there, but because he founds it too big for him as Noynoy is still a man who wants simple and practical things in life. As to the Baguio trip...It's a trip to promote the Jollibee, a major business in our country. The cost and time is worthy, considering that the company is one of the successful Pinoy stories and good for the economy.

I agree with you. I'm really not satisfied at all, i guess way so far to satisfaction even as well to being fair or good. I can say a lot of comments but i think it will occupy a lot of space (haha..) so i gues i'l just simply say, "i'm not happy at all". I didn't vote for him as well, i guess i was correct in not voting for him.
