does spamming help??

when i see a spam post while i am surfing the net i just ignore it.inever click a spam message.no one that i know clicks a spam message. then how does spamming help people get traffic into their sites?
does any one of you click on those spam links you get?

To be honest, it does not help. But us in the business classes learned from professors that spamming is not such a bad thing and that to build our business we should try it. I hate spams. I never check any of them. Also some of their links might contain virus. You will never know! It is better to just delete them from the inbox and blogs.
