Correction if I may, 8 weeks of age before applying frontline or any other type of flea medicine.

At a month old, the pups should have seen the vet already. I suggest taking them if you want healthy puppies.

Hey now, I don't usually butt in but in this case, I will. No need to be harsh to the discussion maker or anyone else for that matter and your words DO sound a bit harsh. Lighten up a bit, ok? You may not mean it the way it sounded so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt however, in the future, please choose better or nicer words. You attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

Depending on where you are, go to a feed store such as Southern States or Tractor Supply and get some dewormer for both the mother and puppies however, as for the flea protection, you can put frontline plus on the mother but not on the puppies until they're 8 weeks of age. I found this paragraph and this is what it says: FRONTLINE® is waterproof, since the active ingredient in FRONTLINE® products is stored in the oil glands in the skin, from which it is continuously released onto dogs' fur, FRONTLINE® remains truly waterproof for 30 days or longer. FRONTLINE® is so gentle it is approved for use on puppies 8 weeks or older. It is also approved for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs. For best flea and tick control, apply FRONTLINE® Plus monthly throughout the year. Here's the link to that statement and it's on the left side, scroll down, third paragraph down. NOT A REFERRAL LINK but information to help with this discussion. http://www.petco.com/product/12686/FRONTLINE-Plus-for-Dogs.aspx

Why in the world would you want to bathe a puppy?! Dogs should not be bathed more than 2-3 times a year under normal circumstances if they are inside dogs--it messes up their internal oil balance and all the protective substances on and in their hair. Do not deworm or tick/flea treat the puppies, or the mother if she is still nursing them. Puppies can die from such medications. If you are concerned that the puppies have worms take them to the veterinarian. I'll bet they are beautiful with a mother like that, what a great combination of breeds!

My advice is to get your mama dog spade so she doesn't over populate the over population of puppies and stray dogs! I hate heating hearing storres like this! It is obvious you are clueless about animals and think you do anyway! MY ADVICE IS FIND THE PUPPIES ALL GOOD HOMES AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE SPADE AND NEUTERED WHEN YOU GIVE THEM AWAY! THEN SPADE MOMA! GET A CLUE AND DO THE RIGHT THNG!!!!!!
