Nov. 30 morning, the CNN reported that, annually, at least one million people around the world commit suicide. According to the report, Japan has one of the highest rates of suicide- 30,000 every year. Why is this so, because people seek something that can make life worth living. Unfortunately, many of them failed to find things that can make life worthy of living. Hopeless.
Upon hearing that news, our hearts sank. But it led us to prayer. We know that only a vital relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ could bring meaning and make life significant. Jesus said., “ The thief comes only in order to kill, steal and destroy. I (Jesus) have come in order that you might have life- life in all its fullness (John 10:10)”. Join us in prayer that the Good News be heard by people around the world, that the Holy Spirit will bring people to the claims of Christ, and that we, His children, will truly be committed to showing grace to the sinner by modeling the love of Christ. Let’s redeem the time.
May we show and proclaim God's grace to other. God bless us all.

im sorry that so many people kill themselves but the truth is that life isnt easy and sometimes we all get sad and desperate. so i understand that they kill themselves bcs they couldnt see a light in their life that could make them stay alive. they had a terrible pain and couldnt avoid that. i dont judge who does that bcs we never know what we will do and i dont think they are sinners. they are just poor unhappy people that didnt find a way to happiness.

Yes, this is quite a matter of concern. But unfortunately, there is nobody else to blame but ourselves for this; we as a society, have been growing in every possible dimension - be it in terms of population, competition, materialistic desires - so there has been anxiety piling up in the minds of people, who have been developing increasingly busy lifestyles to keep up with the ever changing atmosphere around. A spiritual tilt is the need of the hour, and the sooner the people force themselves out of the vortex of worldly lures, the better for their future. Best is to devote some quiet moments each day to rejuvenate your spirit - our inner batteries sorely need that constant recharging to hit peak form.
