Everybody knows who's Judas Iscariot, a man who betrayed Jesus for 30 pcs silver. As the bible account Judas never asked repentance from his sin. Even he is one of the disciple of Jesus. He hang himself in the tree and die. So the question is "where he is now? Is he is save because before he is disciple of Jesus? What your opinion about this? God alone knows! It really is not a concern of yours or mine whether a particular person is in 'heaven' or 'hell'. I do sometimes pray for people like Judas Iscariot and Hitler. I don't know what good it does but it seems to help me understand that none of us are wholly good and nobody is wholly bad.

Hmmm thanks you to your opinion but I left to you this note that yes God knows all things, you know we must know also where you and me going after we die so that you have a tendency to be extra carefull like to sin in order to avoid going to hell... see you around

People who concern themselves with whether some other soul is in heaven or hell (even assuming these places exist) are in grave danger of sin: "Judge not, that ye be not judged!"
We have NO way of knowing, in fact, whether either Judas or Hitler repented in the last split second of their lives. That is all that it takes for the human mind to be truly contrite. As I say, I sometimes include them in my prayers, not so much because I think that it will make any difference to God's mercy to them but because it DOES make a difference to my feeling for and understanding of God's mercy and love.

Sorry owl, I couldn't pray for traitors and butchers. There are so much more who need our petitions so our God could alleviate their plight. But for him who exchanged our Lord for some pieces of silver, and for him who committed genocide, burn in hell.

hello visavis!
yeah, i know who judas iscariot is. I don't know where's the original now but his followers and the likes of him have proliferated in our world. There are so many Judas Iscariots in our world, throughout the history of man. Can't you not see Judas in the person of that supposed friend who betrayed his best friend just so he would get the promotion? Or in the faces of those people who sold their votes and elected a dictator and turned their backs on the one who could have made a big difference in the local politics?
wherever Judas Iscariot is now, he is definitely having the last laugh. He has sown his seeds of betrayal in this world, and they're proliferating still.

Judas Iscariot and his ilk are shown to us in parables:
The Prodigal Son
The Lost Lamb
The Lost Coin
Read these stories for understanding of the final outcome (for however long it takes) of the Judas Iscariots, Hitlers, and Sadaam Husseins of the world.
By hanging himself, Judas showed repentance in the best way that he knew how to. I don't agree that it was the best way, but it was the best way in his limited understanding of life and God's will.

Hi visavis, There is no one on earth that can answer that question with certainty, just as no one can answer where is Hitler or where is anyone who has left this earth. Most people will agree that it is all a great mystery that we all like to form our opinions about. Blessings.

Only God knows where he is now. But I think there are still lots of his followers are living nowadays. Maybe they are his reincarnated soul. I really hated people who betrays even the people closest to them just because of money and fame. It is visible in the world of politics.

He definitely did not go to heaven and be with Jesus. He's in hell. God gives us our precious life and God alone can take it. Judas made a sin against God by betraying Jesus and killing himself.

hi visavis like Owl I do not know nor care where Judas went
as I am more concerned that I do not follow where I have a
hunch he went. God know and hopefully he knows me too and the
heart of me. I am trying to live a good life and be happy knowing
I am a good person and grateful for what I do have, and not
miserable for what I do not have.

He killed himself, so I reckon he must be in hell. As to being a disciple of our Lord, well that only set the example that even if we profess to be close to God, we could also be tempted. And the church collection thing is very tempting. I know so many people who built churches so they could have an assured weekly income.
