jejemon is the popular word in Philippines. jejemon is the person who's typing the word using a short cut word or unknown format of text or typing in keyboard.

I am aware of it since I am a cellphone user. I am not as avid as other cellphone users who can encode and understand the language. I will admit as being a low-rate jejemon since I still practice encoding the entire word for clarity's sake ( I hate receiving a reply with the message "huh?" or 'ano, ulit nga."). I would recommend using it for informal communication but not and never be used in other areas like writing.

yeah. am so familiar with them. good thing i my friends aren't jejemons. i don't like much how they spell words. it makes my head ache, it's so hard to read. i think they're making spellings more complicated. in text messages, you usually make it short, right? but they don't do it that way.
anyway, it's their own preference. everyone's got their own ways of doing everything.

The "higher-level" jejemon form of messages are so hard to decipher. Lol. The bad part about these jejemon style is that the jejemons get used to formulating messages using their weird style and format that they may tend to forget the correct spelling of words and even pronunciations because it's so much different the way they type/text the words.

English is the business language of the world, how we write and speak it correctly is one of the factors that determine where our country is heading, okay we already gave it up as the primary teaching media in some subjects, we gave it up on how news and how a lot of other T.V. programs are brought to our homes.Would we now still allow corruption on how text should be written. I agree it is Filipino creativity, but can't we channel our creativity somewhere else more productive? To be able to speak and write the English language correctly is the last bastion or fortress where our country has at least has an edge, do we have to give this up as well? Ten more years if we allow this to happen , we will just be surprised to see Filipinos writing or posting here on my lot jejejmon style, enough is enough, when will we wake up and do something more productive?

Yeah, I know that fad about jejemon and once again the creative minds of Filipinos work. I'm sorry but I am not good at reading with jejetext and I can't help but just erase it without reading the messages. By the way Jejemons are not just known by that unique form of texting they were also recognize the way they wear their cloths. According to some they want to be unique and being jejemon is the answer.
