Making electricity from sound is exactly what any microphone does. The amounts of electricity are very small, of course, because, relatively, sound energy is, itself, small.
In fact, no conversion system is perfect and sound energy, for example, is converted into both electricity and heat in a microphone. The electricity is generated by the movement of a plate in a magnetic field (or by the variations in pressure on a piezo-electric crystal) but the residue of the energy is absorbed by the mechanical system of the microphone and is converted into very small amounts of heat.
