When others say, "it's not meant to be". Do you still pursue for it?

I have heard that many times in different scenarios, to me I consider that as an emphatic word from a friend whose intention is to uplift me in a certain degree. Unfortunately, it does not serve me well. Instead, I put to mind these words and become optimistic, pick up the pieces and try again. I don't give up, I always prove to myself that one can change his/her destiny only if he persists and make things happened in different course. There are a lot of ways if you want it, and a lot of reasons if you don't want it. What's your side? :)

I believe that something is not meant to be when I can prove it to myself. I won't let someone else tell me that something can't be so. When I am failed by something that i have put every effort into, then I will say it's not meant to be.

Well said, I admire people with a go-getter attitude, the optimism that you possess is something you must be proud of. Other people simply put their unattained goals to rest and not minding at all, giving up without fighting for it. Go girl! May your dreams/goals be realized soon!
