Hi, i'm new in this writing gig. And i'm looking out for a writing site that would publish my article - without much criteria and easily to get excepted and publish. My article is normally about 300words. I'm still in the stage of improving my writings and hoping to get it published and earn some cash. You can see my sample article at thinkinglog.wordpress.com leave a comment if you guys think, i'm cut-out or can try writing at a paid site. Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks all!

I think you should try the article writing sites. The editors do help and a site like Helium even have mentors who can help you shape your articles. I've not written for Helium for a while but I'm going to start again and I've asked one of the mentors to help me. If you like writing news then there is Digital Journal. The editors there are great at helping you shape your articles and at pointing you in the right direction.

Thanks! i have thought about Helium for a while, but have not really sign up yet. As i'm building my confidence in my writing. Looks like i'm going to go for it now, and hope with the exposure, mentorship and my persistent practice, this will take me to another level of writing and at the same time improve my writing, as well. Will look into your suggestion at Digital Journal, i kinda like that. Thanks Jane! great info.

Hi There is one site I know where it is very easy to submit articles, you get paid by PPM i.e. paid per thousand page views basis. Also you can republish articles that you have published elsewhere. It would be great if you could join as my referral. If interested kindly PM me.

Have you signed up for freelancing websites. I make a little extra money from freelancer.com. You can bid on jobs there after you create an account, and they will pay anywhere from $1.00 to $5.00 per article. There are others I am a part of like vworker, and peopleperhour, but freelancer has been the one I have been most successful with.

Most of the jobs you work for will have a team of editors that can clean up your writing. They do not like grammatical errors, and filler. You need to write quality articles, but usually they give you the information that you will need to research them and they give you feedback. The best thing to do is start with one job to see how it works, then bid on a second or third. I made the mistake of taking on too many at once. I got overwhelmed you can make decent extra money with just a couple of jobs! Hope this helps!

Good stuff! i went to browse at it. Wow.. lots of postings. You are right, need to be selective and also to be sure, one can handle the job. There are many bidders too. You must be lucky to win the bid and get many jobs.
