I love eating spicy noodles soup, specially the jamfong flavor. Those with sea weeds, octopus I don't exactly knew all but I really like it... :) yummmy! :) Here in our place shrimp paste we so called bagoong was my favorite appetizer mixed with calamansi juice or vinegar team with tomatoes! OH! love it.. I feel hungry right now.. :D I'm a food lover, I'm thin but I was blessed with my body that no matter how many I eat I never get fat, hopefully not in the future, fingers crossed.. :) Thanks for caring to read my topic... have a great day.. :)

me too! I love spicy food too much! In indonesia we have 'sambal' to eat together with meal. It's main ingredient is chili. I can say I can't eat my meal without spicy taste, I'm totally crazy about it..

I knew someone from Indonesia, who's currently residing here her name was Carol. I don't like too much spicy dishes before but when I met her, I now loved it. She cooked an Indonesian cuisine the recipes are chicken gizzard, green peppers, pepper, onion, garlic & soy sauce.. It was steaming with green peppers, the spiciest food I ever tasted but yet so yummy.. From that time I started loving it.

So you learn to love spicy food from an Indonesian? ha ha I also have a friend from Slovakia. At the first time she tried sambal, she got a terrible stomachache and she said she would never tried it anymore but later she tried again and again and now she often asks for it when she has a meal.

I really like spicy food too, one of my favourite spicy dishes is pasta with arrabbiata sauce (it has garlic, chili and tomato in it among other things, if I remember correctly). I also like curry and chili sauce, they give food a little extra oomph :) But then again, if it gets too spicy then I can't really bear it, and my stomach gets all upset... but damn, spicy food is just so tasty! :P Take care!

I enjoy spicy food, too, Gracielle. But when I was younger, I used to hate it. Until I met an Indian friend from Sikkim. We both like eating so she would always ask me to try spicy dishes. Whenever she cooks, she'd always put chili...paste or powder, whichever!

Hi gracielle! I've been loving spicy food since I was married to a Korean. It has been a part of our daily menu since then. I didn't like spicy food that much before since I'm not used to eating those type of food. Now, there won't be a day without tasting spicy food here in Korea. My favorite spicy Korean dish is Buldak, it is "extremely" spicy chicken. I think spice has been a part of their culture. Happy Mylotting!

Korean cuisine are one the best I can say... Love it, their kimchi & what is it that street food they usually eat that you grilled the beef then wrapped in the lettuce or cabbage leaves then soaked in soy sauce before eating, I haven't eaten that yet but I'm wanting to taste it. They said it was so yummy!!!

I love onions, although it can make our mouth smell awful, still i like it. When I'm eating grilled tuna or fried (fish/chicken/pork)soy sauce mixed with chop onions & calamansi extract's the best partner, always on my meal. It's my appetizer, have you ever tried it? It's mouth watering! :) I have sinusitis & they say eating raw onions are one of the best remedy. My father does it to..

I like spicy food, but not too spicy though. I don't want to revisit the bathroom over and over again. I can get some spicy food without burning tongue kind of spiciness. I used to work at a Thai restaurant as part - time, and I do taste some of the spicy food there. Amazing, how much spicy those Thai people can swallow.

That makes me wonder too, how come that other people can take too much spiciness, what kind of tongue or should i say mouth do they have? I can't bear too much spice..

Hi gracielle! This reminds me of the thai tomyam soup. Equally goes well with rice or noodles. The aroma of lemon grass in it still lingers in my head. Easily available here, cheap and delicious. You have made hungry now.

I really love spicy food too. Although I've never tried that particular dish I put hot sauce on everything! It's actually not very good thing for your body, but it's so good. Just make sure you don't eat too much because you're putting your body under stress when it's too spicy. But I say eat away!
