What time of the day do you get most of the reading done?

Most likely its at night before I go to bed. I tend to wind down with some quality reading. It helps put my mind at ease. I read at other points during the day but that is where I do the most reading.

I used to do it in the morning but lately I've changed things around and it seems easier at night for some reason.

Yeah I think it is. Morning is just too hectic. Night is a bit more relaxed. It really does wrap everything up quite nicely. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I love to read before going to bed as well. Ever since I was a kid, I sleep much better if I read before going to bed. Its like a ritual already. however these past few years when things catch up and I tend to be busy, I can't read that much anymore. So what I usually do nowadays is, if I travel in long distances and the place I'm going to is common to me or I've been there before I read through out the whole journey.

It is much better to sleep with reading. Also books do tend to make travel a lot quicker and less painless. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I do most of my reading at night too or when I get home from work and have nothing else to do I'll sit and read for a couple hours then get on the computer and then read another chapter before bed. I have more free time now that I don't have a boyfriend so I sit home and read alot. I got like 30 new books so i'm trying to get them all read before the new yr so i can get rid of those and get new ones :).

I wish you the best of luck. That's a lot of books to get through in not too much of a long amount of time. Still it will most certainly be a sense of accomplishment when you do. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I tend to do most of my reading in the evening. Not straight before I go to bed because I cannot comfortably read in bed. But at around 6ish when I am winding down and relaxing. I have not read much for the last couple of weeks though, because I started a book and read three chapters then got bored. I don't like leaving a book unfinished because it could get better, but I don't really have the urge to read it because I found it boring.

I am like that as well. There are just some books that are not that good. It is just a part of life I think. It is just important to try and get them done as quickly as possible to me. But it is a struggle. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I am the same, I always read at night, in bed, right before I go to sleep. It is partly because I have to, I honestly do not have that much time to read during the day, and partly because I like it. It is a nice way to end the day I think!

It is a nice cap to the day. It is relaxing and that's the only time where I'm not going to be doing much of anything. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I'm like that too, I prefer reading at night, before going to bed. I try to do it every day, but sometimes I'm too tired. When I read, though, I can easily stay up for 2-3 hours longer than I expected, which isn't good sometimes, since then I end up going to bed at 3, or later :P

It is very easy to get trapped in a book that's good. Losing track of the time as it passes. Of course one could argue it is the mark of a good book but not so good when you have to get up early in the morning. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I really only have time to read at night after my kids are gone to bed. The odd time if my boyfriend is driving I will read i the car on a long trip.

Yeah with children, I can see why it might be hard to find time to read. Don't have that consideration, but considering that I do have enough to deal with as it is, that is just as well. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

For me it's usually during the day when I'm traveling. I take public transit and I actually really enjoy it because it gives me lots of time to read. I also read before class and on breaks during class. I read any time of the day though, it's not just reserved to specific periods!

I do most of my reading during the afternoon after I come back from school. I should read more at night instead of staying on the computer because the bright light depletes melatonin (or so I've heard) and makes it difficult to sleep for a couple hours after watching TV or being on the computer. I should read more in the morning because I am more focused then. I have to do a lot of reading for class right now and normally read for hours on end. Sometimes I fall asleep on my textbook.
