Something we really need

Never mind new apps for Facebook or the iPhone. What we really need is a band-aid that can be easily applied with one hand. Ever cut your finger? Putting the bandage on with the other hand is a lot of fun. Somebody should invent something useful, instead of finding new ways to waste our time.

He he he, I like your discussion. I know what you mean though! I've cut myself pretty bad in a variety of situations and I usually have to put pressure on the boo-boo until I can manage to get the bandaid out of the package/thing that it's in. But how would they keep the adhesive from drying out? Hmmm.. I'm sure modern technology could come up with SOMETHING if they tried!

We can make 100,000 apps for the iPhone. Surely we could make a one-handed bandage.

I know how that feels. I am right handed so when I have gotten a cut on my right hand it is fun to watch me try and put a band-aid on. I fumble around with it for a bit and then finally by trial and error I finally get it to work.

I sometimes have to do it twice. while I am fumbling to hold the pad in place and peel off the protective covering, i sometimes manage to fold it and make it stick to itself. I usually ask for help, if any is available.

I have never had much trouble putting on a band-aid. It is very simple, all you have to do is remove one cover and then stick one side and slowly pull the remaining cover and wala you have put the band-aid without any problem. There are already single cover band-aids by the name of *sometin*-plaster. sorry I don't remember the name.

If you have never had any trouble applying a band-aid with one hand, you are unusual, possibly unique. Everybody I know has struggled with them. If somebody else is available, it is normal to ask the other person to put it on. they are designed to be applied using both hands.

Yes most certainly. If there is someone else around, I can always ask them to help but what if someone else was not around. That would be rather frustrating and it has been frustrated. If you cut or burn your finger, one hand is not really operational. Therefore, it would be a great invention and if someone would really would make a lot of money and make it big.
