Sure they do. If they are mature enough to take their own decisions and not be influenced by relatives...especially after a child is born to them.
My cousin married a girl of a different religion and they are happy together. They have a child. Both practise their own religions and respect the other's religion. the child will be free to choose his religion when he is grows up. As of now, he follows both which I think is good.

Yes, sure. I hope so. It will be 4 year in December for me and my hubby. We are going strong. Buddast and Christian. We havent had any problems at all.

as long as they dont get each others religons get in the way then it will work perfectly

Definately. You guys can believe in different religions. It is not like it is that huge of a deal for it to break up the marriage. As long as both religions are close to the same beliefs etc...
