Anyone used ubuntu netbook remix 10.10?

I tried using ubunu netbook remix 10.10, the interface or desktop looked promising and pretty cool actually. Then I actually began using the netbook remix and it sucked. Its sluggish and feels like my netbook is going to crash any minute. Well, I switched my desktop to regular ubuntu and works fine now! I'm pretty new to linux so excuse me for the newbie talk
