Do You ALWAYS read the fine print?

That is,if it's not too small to read in the first place... With Winter on the way a month or so ago,I had bought a jar of "Concentrated" windscreen washer additive for my car. It's been sitting in the back of the car since then, and with our temperatures here currently dropping into double figures below zero Celsius at night,I thought I'd better keep a few things in the car in case of an emergency or breakdown-and inside it I found the Jar of fluid had turned to a lump of blue ice! I brought it in to the house to let it warm up to the point where it could be used, and only then on reading the small print discovered it will work, undiluted, down to only -5C...Yep,that was well worth buying at the present time! btw..I was reading a newspaper item that said it was colder in some place in Scotland on Tuesday than it was at the North Pole!

I think it is important to always read the find print on any kind of document. Whenever i have chosen not to, I have been disappointed. The find print can tell you more than you may be ready for.

That's the thing about small print,it's there to make sure you get important info..unfortunately,some don't have the time (or the specs!) to read through it-or maybe they think the important stuff should be in BIG print!

I actually used to work for a company where we took calls from people who were calling in upset because they were being charged 30-some odd dollars each month simply because they didn't read the fine print before signing up for online offers. Both due to this and other horror stories I've heard I'm always careful to read the terms on anything and everything....but the reality is that most people don't, and companies have to prepare for that.

I certainly do. I make sure that I read all the fine prints when I have to sign an Agreement or Contract. The catch can always be there in the fine prints. I make sure that I understand and I am aware of all the conditions before I sign the paper, lease, rent, purchase, sale, etc.

I do, I do and as a result of being skrewed several times in the past, that I know I scour the entire product for anything that later I will end up regretting. This is so important to do as it will certainly making a spending error later. As for Scotland, wow that is sad for them, as they are not use that, I am sure they are doing everything possible to stay warm as winter is always cold, but this is a bit too much at one time.
