My baby girl is almost a year and a half already! Where has the time gone? She is learning so many things so fast. She can put pants and socks on take them off, run, jump and can say over 20 words. I dont remember my 2 older girls ever learning things this fast. My 2 older girls were barely learning to walk at this age as where my youngest has been walking since her birthday. Time seems to be just flying by and I think it has alot to do with I know she is my last baby. Before I know it I'll be sending her off to her first day of Kindergarden. There is still so much I want to do with them and they just grow way to fast. She loves to mimic what people say too. It's so cute how she says some of the words. Any body else have babies around the same age? If so what have been the biggest changes they have done lately?

My daughter is three and reminds me almost daily that when she is four she gets to go to preschool. I swear she is going to give me a panic attach. My daughter talks really well for her age and she is really too smart for our own good. I feel like I can't keep up with her some days. She is just so determined about things. She was my little preemie baby born 11 weeks early, hasn't slowed her down at all. She already knows her alphabet by sight and what the letter say she is starting to trace her letters. And she ask questions about everything all the time, which I do my best to answer. I feel like I just brought her home and now she is already talking and walking and potty trained and she can dress her self and she even does little chores around the house, she loves to help out. She decided that feeding the dogs was going to be her thing, we thought she would get bored with it but every day she feeds the dogs. I feel like I am going to blink one day and she will be asking for the car keys or if she can go on a date!!!! Your parents tell you that it will go fast but it doesn't prepare you for how fast it goes.
Part of you youngest learning so early maybe because she has older siblings the little ones don't want to be left behind. My sister is 6 years older than me and I did a lot early because if she was going to do it then darn it so was I. Have fun with her and remember don't blink!

Oh my Goodness. Your response just made me smile all the way through it! Sounds like your daughter is doing amazingly well. Being 11 weeks early, that usually slows children at least a little bit. Your daughter seems to have no problem keeping up with the world. I try so hard not to blink, but it's kind of required haha. My oldest will be 7 in Febuary and it seems like yesterday I was bringing home a little 5 1/2 pound baby.

Awwww this is so sweet! I suddenly remember when my son was just the same age as your youngest. He learned to walk before his first birthday and learned the abc's and went to school at 2. Now he's 6 and he's in first grade. He's starting to have some girlfriends already and I just feel so old now!
But I'm really proud of my son and I wish to have a baby girl soon!

I know how you feel. My oldest will be 7 soon. Seems like they grow all too quickly. I now see exactly what my mom has been telling me from the beginning. Take things slow, dont take time for granted and enjoy every minute. :)

My daughter turns 3 last month I remember when I’m still pregnant with her. And now she’s 3 already time was passing by so quickly. I am glad that on her age she learns many things already. She learns how to count but can’t read at this time. Looking at her old photos when she was a baby I can’t imagine that now she was learning music already. She was musically inclined at her age. Anyway, I’m just enjoying my time with her and I hope she will grow beautiful inside and out.

My babies are much older now, my daughter just turned eight last week and my son has been four since October. However, I remember that stage of their lives so very well. My daughter was the one that was really amazing at that age because she was able to speak in complete sentences by the time she was a year and a half old. She also could overcome almost every physical feat that you could think of when she was that age. She is just amazing. You are right that your daughter will be starting school all too soon.

yeah, i know how time flies.I have been working for a year and half. but I feel it is so short in my mind.maybe just a few months. so i try my best to cherish my time and do more. you know, it is impossible to hold time and let the time clock stops. so what we do is to make fulll use of our time to something more meaningful.Just as you said on the above, from your baby's grow-up, you know how fast it is. sorry, i do not have the babies.

I have same feeling like you as i am more than 20 years old. I don't know how time has passed so fast. If we look at it as a positive way, time teaches us a lot things such as time never stop for any one so we should not wait for time in life and always ready to get the things in right times.

I think time is flying by faster and faster--my kids are now 9 and 8, and it seems like yesterday that they were 2 and 3! I think you are right that it's going by faster for your 3rd because you know (or suspect) that she is the last. But I also think it's because you yourself are getting older. I have found that every year that I age, the time seems to go by faster and faster--and the longer it takes to do somethings! By the time I am 80, a year will fly by as fast as a day!
