Hi, dudes! We all know about these scary stories about the end. People talking about the end many years before Christ. I heard that one of the first years which was officialy known as "The End of the World" is 1666. People were connecting number 666 with the end. Now we have 2012 as "the end of all times". New era for humanity will begin, the old world will die . . . and such things. Some people are talking 'bout the 4th kind and etc. Do you think that this is just another fairytale? Is there somebody who's making money on behalf of these stories? What have you heard about the end and 2012? Thanks!

my mother told me the signs of the end of the world which has read in the bible -the world will lost its progress, people will be poorer -dying nature, source of our life -uncured diseases, cancer, aids, something like that -no more clean water -misery and all things like that, but we should not think of it, just think a bout today and what you can do for the world today have positive outlook in life and good days ahead merry christmas _:)

I believe that only God knows when the world will end so I live my life as well and decently as I can and leave the end up to Him. I'm not afraid to die. I do believe people take advantage of these legends and stories and they make money from them. Many people believe the stories but they just make themselves miserable worrying about it.

I have been hearing about the doomsday theories since the early 60's. They don't scare me and only hold alittle anxiety because my daughter, my two grandkids and my great grandson and grandsoninlaw will be left behind for whatever happens after I am gone. I can't stop it and I can't get trillions of people to do as they should in time to stop the enevidible anyway. Sort of defeatist I know. I just did six hours of shop til ya drop so I am bushed.

I never heard of 2012 as the end of the world. But I do believe that the end is near but when will it exactly come, no one knows. I'm a Christian and to what I believe, the end is near because great accidents are already happening. Abnormal things are being observed already and tragedies came day to day. Do not believe if someone says that the end of the world will be on a specific day. Because no one knows if it's gonna happen tomorrow or later or right before we sleep, anytime!

My friend in high school once told me that, all good things must end and when there's the civilisation age, the thing will end here, probably. I don't really want to think that the end is coming. It's just too soon for all of us here. Especially I'm still young and still have many things undone. So far, all the things I've heard about 2012 is that there will be a mega tsunami attacking every continent and there'll be a lot of tornadoes whizzing past, in short, a big disaster will happen. Some say there's going to be a poleshift, which I'm still doubting. Anything could happen and it seems true. Even Yahoo reported it. Other said 'doomsdays' did not happen at all and were not even reported by Yahoo. Argh, who knows if it's going to end on 2012? Never mind, just let it be. When it happens, it'll be very fast.

For em the end of the world don't have the date even Jesus the son of Jehovah God don't know the fixed date as what in the bible it is like the thief we don't know when they came to our house and get the thing's they want.

These uproars are just another part of life. They are spoofs to frighten people and were made up for no reason. If i were you, i would definitely not waste my life worrying about these unwanted stuff solely for the purpose of entertainment. I wouldn't believe ancient Mayans and Aztecs hundreds of years ago. I'd rather believe scientists who are trying to predict if these are true based on their findings. In a few years time, you will know these things are not true and you will realise you have wasted your past worrying about these. Do you remember in 2000 A.D something similar happened. Many people were frightened about the incident where are the planets were lined up in a single file? People were frightened and said it was the end of the world. But what happened? humanity realised it was a false alarm and just continued with our ways. So my advice is, don't pay attention to these false claims and just enjoy your life
