If your pets die, would you choose to bury them or stuff them?

If one day, your pet dies suddenly, you feel devastated. Would you bury him/her or bring the body to a stuffed animal shop to "reanimate" it?
Pets, as our friends and even family members, devote all their love to us and become indispensable to their owners. So more and more pet's owners choose to stuff their died pets in order to let pets stay with them forever.
However, the sample's production process seems too bloody. The taxidermist sterilize died pets, then eliminate condensed blood, fresh and most part of bones inside their body, only remain their skull, outer coating and shanks, stuff cotton in the body and construct their body form with iron wire, then dry. The stuffed animals according to standard corrosion prevention will preserve for about 30 years.
As myself, even though i love my pets and want them stay with me forever, but i would not allow their body to be damaged, i'd rather bury them for a good rest. What about you?

yep, i could not agree with you more. If you love one loves his/her pets as family members, he/she would better treat them so, either during their life or after deat. He/she could not stuff their real family members, why stuff the pets? Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

I can't imagine stuffing my dogs after they die. It just seems wrong to me for some reason. My pets are like family so when they die I want to give them a proper burial so they can rest in peace. Stuffing them might preserve them for however many years but it still won't be the same. Plus, that entire process doesn't sound appealing at all.

No. Definitely not. Although I don't have a pet, if I had one, I would not want to do this to it. No matter what, it has already passed and I feel that we should not do this to it so as to ensure that it has a smooth afterlife. In my country, some of the dedicated pet owners cremate their pets and remember them by placing their ashes in an urn and put their beloved pets' photos in front of it. I think this should be the way, instead of damaging its body, which is equally cruel.

I saw a stuffed pet when I was a kid and I really didn't like that one. I love my fur babies and I don't want to keep them with me when they die. We have what we call rainbow bridge for our fur babies. It's like heaven for them. I would bury my fur babies than have them stuffed!

I like you cannot imagine stuffing a pet who has passed. Although I understand that some people prefer this, I am one who can't imagine doing this.

hi friend,
I think you should bury your pet. It's like asking the question if my love one die, will I bury him, cremate him or mummify him? Just give my advice a few seconds to ponder on ok and you will arrive at a good decision .
