Well, the title says it all. I want your opinion who you will win the Golden Ball.
Many say Iniesta, Sneider and Xavi are the favourites but I will also consider Forlan as a strong candidate.
Also many believe that as Spain won the 2010 world cup, the Golden Ball 2010 must be given to a spanish player. Do you agree with this?
Don't hesistate to leave your opinion :D

Yes I agree with this. Although I don't like Spain, I consider that a Spanish player should win it.
In 2002 the Golden Ball was won by Ronaldo, who played only a few months, being injured for the majority of the year. But he made a fantastic world cup and he got the Golden Ball as well.
In 2006 Cannavaro has played a very good world cup, but the rest of the year he was terrible. However, he has won the best player award.
In this conditions, I would give the Golden Ball to Xavi, because I consider him the best player alive, and this for many years. If I could, I would give two awards, I would give one for Iniesta as well. I think that these two players are the best duo in the history, and they played at the highest level for years and have won many trophies. I think that is not a coincidence that Barcelona wins so many trophies lately and Spain as well. After Iniesta becoming an established world class player, Spain has become a major force as well. So together with Xavi they are the best in my opinion. The pass is more important than a the dribbling, the ball is faster than the player and both Xavi and Iniesta know this. They are not spectacular player, but they help the team a lot.

Indeed iniesta and Xavi are world class player but apart from the World Cup, they didn't won any trophies this year.
Sneider won the Champions League, Serie A and the Italian Cup with Inter and also was a finalist in the World Cup.
Similarly, Forlan won the Europa League with Atletico, the Golden Ball for the best player in the World Cup and in the last season scored quite a bunch of goals.
Its going to be a tough decision to make who will win the award =)

As far as I can remember they have won the title last year. Or am I wrong? And the Spanish Supercup as well. So I can say that these two players are certainly deserving it. And as I said, Cannavaro and Ronaldo haven't had a great time at the club when they have won the Golden Ball, so this should be kept in consideration as well.

For me, it would be between Xavi or Sneijder. During this year, they are the excellent player on this planet.

I will go for Xavi...He produces excellent plays during the World Cup, although it is only seen at the end-matches of the tournament...His crosses and corners are pin-point sharp and that makes differences to the Spain team...Nonetheless, I do not really agree with the award must go to the player's of the World Cup winner. That simply neglects the basic football ideology, the fair play...Every football player should be given the same opportunity to prove themselves and win the individual award...
