Which is the most effective in blogging: Blogger or Wordpress? / myLot

Blogger offers advertisements and let the users earn money through their blog while in Wordpress the advertisement cannot be monetized. What is your opinion about this?

install wordpress on your own hosting and domain, and make your wordpress automate by installing some software to your wordpress, so it can update the blog automatically

You will get paid if you are using blogger, unlike in wordpress, I do believe that generating more traffic from your own blog, up to date content, more links, for sure you will be paid, through paypal or western union.

I use both, but I prefer Blogger. It is a matter of taste and what you want to achieve with your blog, more than anything, I think.
