Can you type fast as much as you can to the extent that you are not looking on the keyboard and even monitor?
How many characters can you make when typing without looking at the monitor?
I already tried to type fast even without looking at the monitor but I can't still make the long characters with long paragraphs. It is really fun and as what I could see I could only type a few typographical errors.

I can type around 60-70 words per minute depending on what I am typing. For text that I am copying I am just under 60 words per minute and for just typing from my brain I am able to push it to almost 80 words per minute and without looking at the keyboard of course.I am in a business course and it demands a certain level of typing ability and I far exceed the requirements for the course. When I was younger i had to look at the keys while typing and I was not very fast at all.I was under 30 wpm looking at the keys and now its easy for my to type without look with little to now errors.Typing is a very essential skill in today's modern work and comes in real handy for many different tasks.

It really happens when you type at the first time especially when you are still student and in young age you are going to type very slow to the extent that every single word would take too long. But then whenever we are already used to it we really tend to type as fast as we can to the extent that we are not already looking at the keyboard and monitor since we already memorize the letters or what letter are we touching.

I actually can't do that. But then there are times that if I am sleepy then I tried to close my eyes while I am typing.

So meaning without looking at the monitor is also included there? I mean I know it is not important but just for fun and sometimes there are some instances that we are not really looking at the monitor?

Of course it happens to everybody and I've experienced that too. I just learned how to type fast when I am hooking up myself into chat.

I do type as much as I need to without looking at the keyboard or even monitor. I do this especially when I have to type while reading from a support. I hold my eyes on the paper, and my fingers do what they are supposed to do.
I don't have any problems in typing in my native language, but when it comes to typing in English, I do some mistakes (about 4%, which is quite much... ). This happens because my fingers type before my eyes see what I need to write, I don't know if you know what I mean. Sometimes my fingers do the work for me before I think at which key I must stroke.

I can type more or less than 50 wpm by touch typing. It's funny how I practiced before I learned how to do the touch typing. I type "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" just to involve all the alphabetical characters. But then, I can't do touch typing when it involves numbers.

What you mean by touch typing? Are you having your touch screen monitor?

That was my problem before that I can't type without seeing the keyboard. I think it took me so long to learn it until I have also learned on how to chat with other people around the world.

I am quite a fast typist! I went to a job agency recently and they had me take a few tests on their computer and when it came to typing, I had a 99% accuracy & 100 something words per minute. I applied for a office job so my typing skills boosted my resume up. I love typing and the accuracy of typing matters most than how many words you can type a minute because if your words aren't spelled correctly then it'd be pretty pointless.

I think if you type very often then that is the time you will learn more on how to type fast especially by not looking in keyboard anymore. Not looking at monitor is not necessary of course it is still important that you have to look at the monitor every now and then.

I can't just determine how many words I can do in a minute. I could really try to type without looking on the monitor but then I can't make it for that too long. Meaning to say I still have to look every now and then so that I could check if I still have my typographic errors or not just like what I am doing right now.
