I think corruption has become non-distinct part of govt in every country but the level of that is less or more. May be XYZ country is not corrupt to high level but there is corruption for sure.
I did not hear about Indonesia on this particular case but sad to know that.
Hope things will improve.
Thank You for sharing.

Hi Ajay,
First of all, let me introduce myself, i am shaun and i am an NRI. I have only heard about political corruption in movies but now i'm surprised to see that corruption is affecting India a lot more than I thought. If only all the corruption kings were gone, our country would be much better and I hear about these corruption stories everyday, but i did not realise the severity of these incidents. Thanks for letting me know about the politicians. The corrupt politicians deserve jail and repartition of their citizenship. They do not even deserve to be in the country.
At first, i was shocked to see that corruption in India is real, then I was disappointed about these politicians who use money from the government for their own purposes instead of serving the people who need it the most. Because of this, much of India's wealth is hidden and its economic power cannot be fully displayed. I believe that by getting rid of corrupt politicians, India can stride to a better tomorrow.

We are a great nation and this is the only issue which is dragging us behind from others. These are just few names, almost every politician is corrupt, they are busy making money for their future generation, using public money for their own benefit and making us fool, we are still happy if you eat part of it and use the money for development but they are still not ok with that, sending all money to swiss bank and govt is not interested to disclose the names in Swiss Bank.
They all are same when it comes to eat money of tax payers.
Thank You for sharing, have great time ahead.

Well.. It's because too many scams you are seeing from few days.. but as per my opinion.. India is the country where people working harder also trying to improve their living style day by day.. you just see other side of India.. Best in IT among world.. too many business opportunities are there. people getting more educated.. lots of positive points.. After all we shouldn't show our weakness to the world as this world already agree with Indian strength..

There is no other way to know about politicians and these scams are eyw opener. I completely agree that India is a great Nation and I am a PROUD Indian but that does not mean to hide truth which is causing our development.
Do You think I belong to Pakistan and willing to drag India down? NO, I love my nation same as everyone else and I did not open any secret which is out for the first time. Everyone knows well about these stupids and their act, they are the reason for us not becoming a developed nation.
We have great strength in IT and other fields too but think if these scams does not happen, the same money can be used for nation's development.
Lots of positive points but why to forget negative points to improve further.

Bangalore is the top 1 in corruption and Mumbai seconds it. What a conflict. Nothing else apart from this. Got a shock when I heard the news in TV this morning. What a shameful thing.

Yeh, my name is long. These corruption kings are very good people for common man of the country and they maintain that very well, it only known to us about them when some of their bad acts like eating public money in some scam, than only we get to see their real face. Almost all are corrupt.
India is still a great country beside these politicians. we can be much better if our politicians are true as a common man.
India is still very interesting and greating nation for various reasons, every country will have some bad things as well, so does India have it's own problem.
Hope we will overcome fromthese problems.

Very good discussion, the world is watching all this and they will know what is happening actually inside the country..
Mr.Raja, he is not a single person and he is just a player who has moved the keys and somebody has controlled this player, so the entire blame should not be put on his shoulders.. His party is behind the entire scene and who knows ? what happened to the amount?
U also have to note, there is a considerable changes in the telephonic system...Call rates being dropped and we get more offers and more networks have emerged..
Next, Lalit Modi, the picture is unclear.... the board itself a corrupted one, they just control the cricket of India, when they want someone, they will hug and welcome, like Mr.Jagmohan Dalmiya.. They have pressed multiple charges on him and now they need him, so they have withdrawn the entire charges..
Modi has been getting more money, they saw him and thought why should he take all the money, let's stop him, so they have pressed charges....u see, anyhow he took more money, but three editions of IPL were successful and we enjoyed the show and the players were happy and the club owners were happy... Nobody suffered, the suffered one is the board, because they didn't get any money, that is the reason...
So, i think, the above will be the least, though they have looted money , but they have done some good and Mr.Raja is alone not the lone person to do this..We have to watch for the entire scene..

I agree that not a single person can plan and get the money alone but these are the leader to get the job done. I just hope that investigation will be out soon which is unlikely to happen unless same govt is in power.

Suresh Kalmadi's crime is unforgivable because he had brought a bad name to our country. He never thought that his act would make Indian ashamed of themselves in the eyes of the world. What others did also is a shameful act but I would place them all below Suresh Kalmadi.
