Hi Mylotters!
I would like to know if you read the instruction manual for of you stuffs.
Well i sometimes yes and sometimes no.I don't really read the instructions for simple things like a mixer or a microwave because there are simple to use just turn it on and they do they job.But if we are talking about...for example a home cinema i read how to set up and what functions it have.

Honestly, no... =)
Because some manuals are not that helpful,I prefer to know how to use these machines on my own or someone will teach me.

I am really hopeless when it comes to assembling things so I definitely need the instruction manual for those. But the sad thing is that even with those manuals in hand I can still mess up when trying to put something together. An example would be me trying to put together a bookcase I bought. It took me hours even with the help of the instructions and I got nowhere. My dad comes by and put the thing together in about half an hour without using the manual. I tend to read through the booklets for everything just to be sure. You never know what might go wrong, even with the most simple and smallest thing.

me too it depends on the product purchased. if it's something familiar than i don't read. maybe only when i stumble upon something new, say like an unfamiliar feature or venturing into uncharted territory, i may refer the manual. that's about it.

i need to read it if i dont know how to use it. but if you already know how it works so you dont need to read the manual instruction, simple. i think there is no one would read the manual if she/he already know how to use the equipment.

I usually do not read the instruction manual when I first buy something. The funny thing is I keep the manuals and later on I will come across them and for some odd reason I will read them. I will learn a bunch of stuff I didn't know about the particular object because I didn't read the manual! You would think by now I would start reading them when I open up that product, but nope.. I wait a while before even reading it!!

I don't like instruction manuals. So much information in a tiny book gets the best of me. I seem to resort to the manual when i can't figure it out on my own!

Not usually, as I am one who plugs things in and plunges right it as I am excited. I do find that some time will go by at which time I discover things I could do and did not know I could do them.
But it makes me appreciate my item more as it becomes yet that more exciting to learn more new things the older it gets.

Most of the time I do, but sometimes I forget or do not have the time to. But I try to do it almost every time!

I do. The very first thing that I do after opening a product that I've bought is to get hold of the manual and go over it. This thing has become a habit of mine that I'm very comfortable doing it before I do anything else!

I never seem to bother with reading all the manuals that things have, i am the kind of person that wants to just plug what ever it is in and get started using it.I think alot of the things that we get are really all down to common sense, so are easy to use straight away.
