Ginger in Winter

winters have arrived at my place. we use a lot of ginger in these days and use it in tea also. it increases the tolerance power of our body towards cold. do you also use some thing special..

Yes ginger brew or salabat as we call it in my country, I drink a lot of that, good for the hear and the lungs (respiratory system) especially during the cold. Although it is readily available in instant form here I make my own because instant has lots of sugar. Boil it in a clay pot (not aluminum), then we put honey and lemon or here we use native lemon called kalmansi.

hi louievill, thanx for sharing. i dont know what salabat is called at my place if atall it is available here....but sounds good that you put honey and kalmansi in it...ummmmh great taste...i guess
