I earned a best mylot response.

We don't really make money with mylot? Well I think we do,not like to buy ourselves ferraris and houses with pools,but it's a nice income just to speak your mind and post about things you actually care a bit about,instead of just posting nonsense,I have no idea on how much what gives here,I'm not a math person.

You have a good point. Although I'm very much against specific amount of earnings for each task we do here - starting a discussion, responding to a discussion or commenting, etc. But if there is some incentive to reward for best answer, I think it will generally make myLot even more enjoyable, because everyone strives to give their best responses, making mylot more vibrant and exciting. I do get BR from time to time, and it does give me a warm feeling. It feels great that your responses is much appreciated and has helped other people in answering their questions.

Its special because its decided by your fellow myLotters.The person creating the discussion has picked your response from the many others they have recieved to be the best. That is such an honor! I must admit I have quite a few BR and everytime someone picks me, I am as excited as I was when I got my first one. It tells the myLotter creating the discussion that I took time to read and think about his discussion. I dont know about any one else but I like the idea of someone,a stranger caring enough to read and respond, possibly give me advice that may save my butt. THese so called strangers are valued more than some of my friends that are close by. A myLotter, a friend now has chosen you as the best response to their discussion. justinus no we do not earn anything on best responses but just feeling good that we are appreciated. but it will help your ratings and our reputations and stars are indeed figured into the algorithm of our earnings.

We don't make much money. But as for your best response, congratulations! It means several things. And this is not your first one! How do I know this? I noticed my star rating went up every time I got one. Your star rating might mean something to people reading your discussion. I don't know!
