It took him 500 days to have a non-relationship with his office colleague, Summer Finn.It was a lover's relationship complete with its ups and downs, words to be spoken and not to. Yet Summer does not want any relationship with him. She did not want a label to be put into their relationship. Disillusioned after Summer left him to marry an almost complete stranger, Tom, the protagonist believes love and its derivative feelings are but the result of songs,books and greeting cards. They have been proved untrue by his relationship with Summer which exhibited just that passing phase of hopeful feelings. Then he met Summer again and she told him that he married the strangers because she believes that many things happens because of coincidence. If she had not been in that particular cafe at that particular time, she would never had met that total stranger. So, Tom came again with a different perspective in life. While waiting to be interviewed for an architect job, he met a charming fellow interviewee. Before he went in, he asked her to go out for coffee. She declines at first but them changed her mind and accepted the proposal.When he introduced himself as Tom, she replied she was Autumn. A funny smile crosses Tom's face? Will it be another 500 days?
