I am a member of a badminton club. I renewed my membership in September, it was quite expensive, but I love badminton and I thought it would be worth the money. I am supposed play badminton once a week, but so far I haven't played a single time.
At first I was too busy with work and meetings and recently I haven't been able to drive to the city where the badminton club is because there is too much snow and driving is dangerous. I am sad that I wasted the money and I was probably a little too optimistic when I renewed my membership. I didn't think that I would be so busy with work and volunteer work...
When was the last time that you wasted money on something or signed up for something that you weren't able to use?

I Purchased a expensive cycle for my kids so that they could practice it well
however, they had to move out of the city due to certain circumstances.they left
their cycle back and always remember it till now.In life there come a lot of
circumstances when one cannot use one's purchased things and it has to be taken
sportingly.

Hi priya and welcome to MyLot!
Yes, these things happen sometimes. There are situations when we suddenly have to change our plans and aren't able to use the things that we bought, because our situation is different from the way it was when we bought the things. When I renewed my membership at the badminton club, I believed that I was going to use it, but things turned out differently. Right now there is simply too much snow at my place and I can't drive there. I didn't think about that possibility before I paid for the membership, but I just have to accept that things like that happen sometimes.

Yes, sometimes we lose interest in the things that we buy and don't get to use them as much as we planned. I have done the same things with some of the crafts that I have tried. Sometimes I get inspired and feel like trying a new craft for instanse a thing that one of my friends is doing, but once I get started I discover that it is harder than I expected and less interesting and my enthusiam doesn't last.

I did spend a lot of money on a so-called notebook computer. In fact it is not. It is something like a toy, very poorly made. I regretted having bought it that I don't want to use it any more. Later I gave to my small niece to play with a toy. So now I have to think about it whether I will use it if I decide to get something so that I won't waste my money on things never to be used. Enjoy yourself, Porcospino.

I almost signed up for a fitness first membership for a year cuz i liked the facility. I didn't go through with it cuz i just realized that i can always go to a cheaper gym. I know full well what my program is, i don't need instructors.

I do it from time to time, unfortunately, but I really try to avoid it. The last time I did it was probably when I bought a domain that I have not used yet. But I can still use it, I suppose. I just need to have enough time to work on it.

The last time i spent money on such a thing was last winter. I was eager to buy myself a new smartphone with all the latest features, and i did end up buying it, i spent 500 euros on it, which i regretted later. I found out that spending so much on a phone was definitely not worth it, but it was a valuable lesson ;) .
