In the wake of the diversification and modernisation of the game of soccer, coupled with administrative challenges at FIFA, who do you think would make a better FIFA president between incumbent FIFA president Joseph Sepp Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini?
Give reasons to support your answers.

I think that Michel Platini has brought a new attitude in UEFA, so I consider him a very good leader. He demonstrated that he wasn't a good captain only on the field, but he is capable of leading a continental organization like UEFA. Blatter has done a good job, being a firm chairman, but he is a bit old and I always support the young, innovative persons.
And Platini has given the chance for smaller European clubs to get in the Champions League group stage, changing the qualifying methods. So I think Platini is a very good leader and a exquisite administrator.

nickventere,
IMO and no offense taken, I feel neither of them are better than the other.
I just cannot understand why both posts are being filled by aged individuals till this day. Not that I am against aged people but so far, I think you will agree with me that the game till today has not moved forward.
Take the introduction of technology into today's game where I (along with a majority) do not know why FIFA is still old school here. The game and players have improved leaps and bounds but sadly, the refereeing has not. Many a times, including the recently concluded World Cup tournament, deserving teams had been "cheated" by poor and conventional refereeing which was really very disappointing to see.
In addition, I have to say that the body FIFA along with its branch office have been non democratic as well and the recent uproar of the hosting rights meeting just speaks volumes here. I feel that there's a need for higher democracy and transparency.
So, I am sorry to say again that neither both are suitable candidates for the the office.

Because they both did not make England host the 2018 world cup, I have this feeling they are both a disgrace to soccer Administration. For goodness sake, England discovered football, why are they being embarrassed like this?
