i really enjoyed to have talking bird.Because, its not just a pet but you can consider it as your family member. Its so fun and helps you to get also to get rid of your stress. It's like more than your bestfriend , you tell all your problems happenings and everything you can shared with them. It's just like you can trust them and yet, you enjoyed having conversation.

Hello,
Yes, I also own a talking bird, a white cockatoo and he's name is Molo, he mimics sound around him, sometimes I thought it was our puppy yipping till I found out that it was the parrot . Fun and facinating how nature endowed parrots to copy even human sounds. By the way welcome to Mylot, this is a great place

I think it's martines or meartinez, although it's one of the talking birds, I don't think it belongs to the true parrot family. Anyway talking or mimicking of birds has evolved not for language or to communicate with humans, rather it is a form of defense to confuse predators to think that he is one of their own. Well a real talking and communicating bird would be nice but don't you think it might complain about the food we give them hehe just kidding, see you around
