Has anyone ever eaten Deer?

I'm against killing these creatures in order to eat. But once a friend of ine had me over for dinner and told m that was about to eat was veal. I believed her and that was it! I ate deer. I don't like the taste that much, but I haven't eaten since. I still wonder why people try so hard to find deer meat.

No and I don't think that I ever want to. I do not like the fact that people are hunting and killing deer. They are such beautiful animals and deserve to be left alone and live peacefully.

Oh yeah i love deer it is wonderful!!! Deer chili is the best! Alot of people don't like the gamey taste of deer but if you soak the deer meat in buttermilk before you cook it then it takes the wild taste out of it.

I love venison. It can be very good depending on where they are from. When I would get it in Michigan it was very good but the meat I've gotten in FLorida is only so so. It's swamp deer down here and what they eat does effect how the meat tastes. I wish we had someplace to buy it at where I could get some good deer meat.
