Facebook Email!

Have you guys heard of the next project of the Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg? He said soon facebook is going to have it's own email. So be ready on getting your @facebook.com.
May people said that it might phase out gmail and yahoo. And I think they have a point because almost everybody in the world has their own facebook account. And yeah, why would you go to another page just to open email if facebook has already one? It's going to be another big break. What you think guys?

Hi fl0rencia, It would not surprise me at all if facebook comes up with it's own email. There are however, some people who haven't been happy with facebook, especially during the past year, so it may not phase out yahoo and gmail completely but I thing it would be very big. Blessings.

it's actually quite a question for me why some people doesn't like facebook. Don't they want to socialize? Or they just don't want to communicate with friends through facebook? I actually know a friend who doesn't have a facebook account. But I haven't asked him why he didn't signed up for one. :)

This seems very unnecessisary to me. Facebook already has messages which is pretty much equivilient to email. I've had the same hotmail adress for 10 years now. I'm not about to go change it. That would be a big hassle. I would have to update all my contacts.
Although it would be a chance to wipe clean all those spam emails I get.

Hi there, I agree with you. I've been using the same email for more than 5 years now and most of my sign ups for some sites and contacts are all there, so I'm not going to change just for it and no to hassles. Spams are just easy to clean up as long my email is not yet compromise.
