Uploading website

I have ceated a website using HTML for a practise purpose... iwant to learn how to upload a webste on server or web...do we need any special software for this...help

If you use windows, you don't need any additional software. Shareware FTP just make you easier to upload your website. You can try to download free one like smartFTP www.smartftp.com For myself, I use CuteFTP www.cuteftp.com WS_FTP www.ipswitch.com They are not free though. My company bought them. It's all the same thing so pick which you like

Typically, website files are uploaded to remote servers via FTP protocol. You need an FTP client to do that. I may add another good program I know, FileZilla client, to the list. You can download it free.
